Launching a new school is an exciting and challenging undertaking that requires careful planning, dedication, and a clear vision of the school’s goals. As we celebrate the beginning of our second academic year, we recognize the many people who worked hard this past year headed by our precious Ms. Margret Reks, who left us to take care of her health. Starting a new school is no small feat, and she did an incredible job of building a positive and supportive school community from the ground up.

Being part of Hayah for 12 continuous years, I personally witnessed the build-up of its legacy of quality service and character building and carrying it forward is no mission to be taken lightly. From teachers to custodians to administrative assistants, each and every member of our team has played a crucial role in ensuring that our students receive a high-quality education that is focused on both academic achievement and character development.
The Hayah West PTA proved to be an indispensable source of support, leadership, dedication, and hard work during the past year aligning with the school’s mission statement.
We will be embarking on a new journey where we will move forward in the process of pursuing accreditation by Cognia and authorization by the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (PYP). Pursuing accreditation by Cognia and the PYP authorization by the IBO, will allow us to achieve our goals of academic growth, student-centred learning, and character development. We will be able to offer our students a holistic, inquiry-based education that emphasizes critical thinking, creativity, and international-mindedness. We are confident that these efforts will result in improved outcomes for our students and a stronger school community.
