The middle school educational program is aligned to the Common Core State Standards for the core subjects except for science which follows the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS), and Arabic which abides by the ministry of education curriculum. Student engagement, critical thinking and collaboration are promoted through various interdisciplinary project-based learning (PBL) initiatives which offer students opportunities to demonstrate learning in alternative settings. The Middle School provides the students with a positive and collaborative school climate where they are encouraged to explore issues and topics of relevance to them and express their opinions through venues such as student council, character education classes, and advisory sessions. Middle school students are also given opportunity to reach their potential through a selection of offered electives as well as participating in a wide variety of extra curricula activities and clubs. This encourages middle school students to become self-motivated learners and independent thinkers in preparation for their high school education.
