Hayah West’s campus facilities are designed to provide students with a well-rounded education, offering comprehensive academic, artistic, and sports resources to ensure a holistic learning experience.
- The school campus is located over a land lot of 38,000 square meters. The building’s full print at maturity will occupy less than 25% of the land leaving about 30,000 square meters for outdoors and recreational areas to ensure quality space and facilities for each student
- All classrooms within the school buildings are equipped with either smart boards or data projectors, reflecting the school’s commitment to promoting
interactive learning. - To foster the development of students’ visual, acoustic, and expressive artistic abilities, Hayah’s art rooms are designed to be spacious and fully equipped with a variety of media. This allows students to explore and cultivate their artistic talents within a comfortable and supportive environment.
- The school is currently equipped with two computer labs, each containing 25 computers, to facilitate digital learning. Additionally, iPads and tablets serve as essential learning tools within the PYP classrooms. The ICT department follows an open-source software policy, enabling students to experiment with software both inside and outside of the classroom. Hayah also implements a “bring your own equipment” policy, allowing students to use the hardware they are most comfortable with for their learning experiences.
- Hayah’s sports facilities include a multi-purpose building and an outdoor area featuring four multiple fields that support basketball, volleyball, handball, and football. Furthermore, the school is home to a semi-Olympic-sized swimming pool and a children’s swimming pool, both fully fenced for optimal safety.
- Currently, Hayah West features one specialized science laboratory, with plans to add an additional lab once the high school building is completed. The existing science lab is equipped to cater to the diverse needs of various age groups and curriculums. Furthermore, the school’s Chemistry lab adheres to rigorous safety standards, ensuring a secure and conducive environment for scientific exploration.
- The Early Childhood and Elementary schools each have their own designated playgrounds, sandpits, and open green spaces, providing students with a stimulating outdoor environment.
