Primary Years
The primary program at Hayah International Academy – West, for children aged 3 -12 years old, is committed to developing students with lifelong learning skills. It recognizes students as agents of their own learning.
Through its transdisciplinary approach, the program helps students learn to use knowledge and skills to reach deep transferable understanding through authentic and real-life experiences. The learning is approached by inquiry based strategies that encourage students to take responsible actions towards their community and beyond.
The school’s program of inquiry is developed based on an ongoing, collaborative process. It is designed to ensure a balance of subject-specific knowledge, skills and understandings, and aligned with rigorous academic standards.
